As for 1440x1080, it's obviously supported, but you'll have to tweak the preset accordingly to use the proper display aspect ratio for your file. Unfortunately, it's not clear what your camera supports (1440x1080 frames using 1:1 pixel aspect ratio which would display as 4:3, or 1440x1080 frames that should be displayed as 16:9) and it's only quite clear whether you are doing live or offline encoding, so I can't really help more without more information.
