Hi 

We are testing out the functionality of sql2016 specifically ssrs and ssas and the R services , we are trying to build a server that does reporting and analytics. The databases that it will be accessing will be on other sql 2012 servers (we arent wanting to move our 2012 dbs to 2016 just at the moment) can I still use the R services to work on these remote data bases? What do I need to do to make them available link servers ?
