I''ve created a small application that tries to connect to a network device and update an access database if the connection was successful or unsuccessful. However, it doesn''t work and gives an error message saying that the database is locked. There''s only one other application that constantly reads from the database. But it should not affect the update process right? Also, the host machine where the application is running does not have microsoft access. What''s the cause of the problem?
