I have made a program in C with Microsoft visual C++ 2010 Express. I want to distribute it to all Windows platforms including XP and above. To try this out I copied all the files in the release folder to an old laptop which runs with Windows XP. When trying to run the program, I got an error message saying that msvcr100.dll was missing. I then downloaded this and copied it to the same folder as the program files. As I understand, there are many versions of this file, so I choose one for XP. But when I again tried to run the program, I got an error message saying that the program was not installed correctly. So now I am lost. Could anybody help med with this?
