Hello and thank you in advance for your help. I have used the redirect source parameter on many many occasions in sharepoint with no issues. However, in my new sharepoint 2013 environment I can not seem to get it to work on a calendar list. My link is as follows.

http ://HostName#1.Domain/sites/SiteName/Lists/Dept%20Events/NewForm.aspx?Source = http://HostName#2.domain.sites/SiteName

Please note we are using host name site collections. I don't see why this would matter since on a regular custom list the source parameter redirects as expected.

When the user clicks the link they are in Host Name Site Collection #1 and the source parameter should redirect to Host Name Site Collection #2. However, it just redirects back to the default calendar.aspx view.
