I am using Windows XP SP1. In my computer, when I attempt to run a .NET Application, I get the following error:
"Application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). "
I am getting the error even I have already installed .NET 2.0 SP2, .NET 3.0 SP1, .NET 3.5 SP1, .NET 4.0. Although I have installed all these frameworks I cannot run even .NET 2.0 applications.
Also, In Chrome, nothing else is loading in the view(center of the window): ie., the title bar, tab and address bar appear but nothing appear in the centre. I think this error is related to the peviously said error. I have tried Repairing, reinstalling these .NET Frameworks but in vain.
Another fact, for only one time these .NET Applications and Google Chrome worked finely; I thought the error cleared and I didn't do any thing and I Shut down by Computer. But, In the next start, the error occured. RADStudio also stopped functioning as it uses .NET through COM. Is this error is because of a viral infection? Will it be cleared if I scan the Computer using an antivirus? I am completely devoid of idea. Please help me!!
