Hi,

I implemented and tested an Ethereum Proof-of-Authority Consortium in Azure with success for my development environment.

Now we need to deploy new blockchains for production environments for our clients.

At development environment my criteria was to reduce infraestructure cost, so I choose free tiers and lower resources, as permitted.

But for production environments the main concern should be availability and performance.

So how one can estimate the best infraestructure for a Ethereum PoA in production?

How many transactions can ethereum support?

Only by implementing performance tests? or is there any estimated value for standard configuration?
