So, it happened twice this week on different VMs. Before rebooting everything was working normally : I had access to the web interface for the application I am running, the webapp I am hosting was responding normally and I had SSH access. I rebooted the VM from the terminal (SSH) and after waiting a whole 10 min, still nothing. No answer from any of the services I listed above. And yes they are enabled at boot and it's not the first time I reboot those VMs. I tried deallocating the VMs and then restart them, but no luck. One of the VM doesn't have the Boot Diagnostic enabled so no serial console and the other one is prompting me to press ENTER to get the login prompt which I read wasn't working without a fix in the GRUB config.
Anyway, is there anything I'm doing wrong or anything I could do to get back my VMs ? We are currently setting up an production environment and this issue is a raising massive doubt on if we should pursue with Azure...
For info, one VM is a standard CentOS 7.5 with 2 webapps behind NGINX and the other one is a FortiWEB appliance.
