I just purchased a refurbished Dell Studio 1737 laptop, it came with Windows Vista Home Premium.
I have been having some intermittent trouble with the touch pad. At times the cursor works but the buttons freeze up for 4 or 5 minutes at a time, at other times the cursor jumps all over the place and I have no contol over it, and at other times text becomes highlighted automatically. I called Dell, they walked me though a few changes but it's still happening.BTW- It came with a wireless bluetooth mouse but I haven't tried it and I really would rather not use it, since it's less convenient. I'm a novice, can someone give me advice about this problem?
