My PC is running windows 8.1 with USB 3 port. Kinect is connected 24/7 and if I did not use the Kinect for 1day, it appears pc has lost the connection to Kinect. Unplugging and plugging the usb connection does not do bring the connection back but if I power off and on the Kinect , then it can be seen by the PC.
