More info would be nice. Is your user ''Matthew'', for instance, or is
that machine unknown or known to be elsewhere? I infer from the fact
that your user is using WinXP Home Edition that it may well be a
stand-alone machine, and as such, he may indeed be Matthew, but it
would be nice to know for sure.
A database can appear to be locked by another user if a session fails.
Sometimes, if repair fails, renaming the file, or moving it to a
different folder can help. Also, if all known users are out of the
file, but the tiny ldb companion file is still present, it can be
deleted and then then mdb checked again.
