In our company we are working on an embedded device based on Windows 10 LTSC with UWF write filter enabled. We are making our own background service that can handle various UWF features for us.
Currently we are having trouble setting the maximum overlay size ( https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/customize/enterprise/uwf-overlayconfigsetmaximumsize ), with the error message being it is not authorized. Every other command is working fine, this is the only one causing trouble. We tried to programmatically run the command with elevated privileges, but that AFAIK it is not possible on localhost for some reason.
The UWF utility from Annabooks can set the maximum overlay size, so we are left wondering how this was possible. I tried taking a look at the source code for the UWF Utility supplied on the website, but that is for version 1.0.0.0 and not 2.0.0.0 that is offered as a separate download on the website.
So I am asking, is it possible to obtain the source code for UWF Utility 2.0.0.0? If not, a just a piece concerning setting maximum overlay size would be immense help.
