I hold an MCSE in Server Infrastructure (Server 2012) and was wondering about completing an Exchange certification, the new 2016 version looks very appealing to me.

The question is, can I just pass the 70-345 exam (Exchange 2016) and would I automatically meet criteria for MCSE Messaging?

From MCSE Messaging description it looks like it can be achieved in 4 ways, with a MCSA based on either Office 365 or Server 2012 and then by passing exams for Exchange 2013 (2 exams) or 2016 (1 exam)... so am I correct in assuming that passing a single exam 70-345 can give me MCSE in Messaging?
