我正在建立就地保留网站集.请按以下步骤进行详细了解
I am facing in establishing In-place hold on site collection. Please find the below steps for detailed understanding

- Created an eDiscovery Set and Added site collection as a source- Success
- Selected On-Hold filter and able to see the content in preview results - Success

- creating search query - FAIL

applying filters in search query is not results search results. On click of SharePoint tab, it is showing the below error.

Unable to figure what is causing the issue. I tried to replicate the same issue in Dev environment attaching the same content database. everything seems to be working successfully.

FYI, content source has been crawled successfully and Search service application is working fine. issue seems to be strange because while creating Discovery set , i am able to see the content in preview results. But, while applying filters in search query, the above mentioned error is getting thrown.

As you said it could work well on your Dev environment, did you install same CUs for your Dev environment and problematic farm? Please go to CA->System Settings->Manage servers in this farm, check if the database number is same for the two environments.
