We have a laptop at our business which is used to connect to DSL router, security camera, DishNetwork base, etc. Everything was fine until things have happended weird around 3 weeks recently: On day time, the Internet is ok and we can view my camera at home (on Internet.) However, in the night time starting around 7 or 7:30 pm or 8pm, I can't view the camera at home b/c the internet connection at business is gone. Any idea that can cause the problem? We are using Windows XP Pro, the DSL router is 2Wire 2107-B, the security camera is Defender Camera.
We have called ATT technician to fix the problem. At first they said that we have 2 Att accounts with them and one is kicking the other one out. Holy cow !!!! we really don't have 2 att accounts at all. To make the story shorts, more than 4 att technicians had tried but the prolem still on. The last technician asked us if we installed the time line wire or something else. Of course we did not done something like that. However we really wonder if somebody else did that behind our back to steal our Internet.
Please help us to make the problem gone. The business is far away from our home and we do need the Internet so we can take a look at what is going on at the business through the camera.
