We have a lightly used OWA server. There's a particular Excel file that many people access and edit, and while large (1.1 MB), it doesn't seem unreasonably so. I'm getting some reports of it taking 7-8 minutes for this one file to load, however.

My question is whether there's a way to tell OWA to hold this file in the cache longer (I've noticed that it opens much faster if it was recently opened)?

I guess a follow-on to this would be that I've heard OWA performance can be enhanced by emptying the cache, but I haven't found anything official on doing this.
