我一直在阅读实时计时器和RTOS功能。如果我们需要一个500微秒的软实时循环时间，我们首先需要一个定时器，它为我们提供每500微秒的分辨率。

Hi all,

I have been reading real time timers  and RTOS capabilities. If we need a soft real time cycle time of 500 microseconds we first need a timer that provides us a tick on every 500 microseconds with a resolution. 

I tried multimedia timer and obtained 1 milisecond resolution. But it doesn't satisfy the need.

Now it seems that it is only possible to achieve this task with a hardware timer. 

I use a PC-104 and an embedded standard windows 7.

Now the question is, is it possible to do this task with a software timer with a low CPU usage?
