Change the parent theme to Theme.MaterialComponents.DayNight.NoActionBar

      <item name="android:navigationBarColor">@color/transparent</item>
      <item name="android:windowContentTransitions" tools:targetApi="lollipop">true</item>
      <item name="colorPrimary">@color/colorPrimary</item>
      <item name="colorPrimaryDark">@color/colorPrimaryDark</item>
      <item name="colorSecondary">@color/colorAccent</item>
    </style>
