I was looking for this answer too and finally found it. keyBytes is a byte array originally created with getEncoded().

//add BouncyCastle as a provider if you want

KeyFactory kf = KeyFactory.getInstance("DSA", "BC");

PrivateKey pk = kf.generatePrivate(ks);
