Does Windows have a mechanism to reduce the write wear on an SD Card to prolong it's life? We currently use SanDisk Class 10 16gb cards. I have seen the Unified Write Filter as an option. Can anyone elaborate on how easy this is to use in a real-world scenario? Are there other default options that we can toggle off to reduce writes to the memory card (e.g. Windows Event logging options etc).

As far as I know, file system can't corrupt SD card, you may see the device can't boot up but the SD card actually fine, you can format and use it again.
